Leftovers
The weather was horrendous here yesterday, so instead of getting any watercolor work done for my new class with Kate, I went out to lunch with my husband and to a wine fair. In all fairness to myself, the 15th of August is a public holiday in France (is that an excuse?)
The restaurant was terrible, so was the wine fair. Today the sun’s out again and I hope I can be more productive. In the meantime, here are a couple of sketches from Brittany that I didn’t get around to posting.
The town of Fret (where there’s an excellent seafood restaurant right on the waterfront) on a very foggy morning :
Some guys in a jazz band that was playing one morning on the marketplace of Crozon:
And some random sketches – done from the terrace of the house we were staying in:
Now, back to work?
Sorry about the lousy weather but your drawings are wonderful and your post was funny and fun to read.
Your jazz musicians are particularly wonderful, Casey. Most enjoyable post. You are so productive lately! Brava.
Great work, especially the musicians!
