Le Presqu’ile de Crozon
We’re back home for just long enough to do some laundry and re-pack.
We just spent a week with friends in Brittany on a peninsula called Crozon. It’s one of the best-kept secrets in France. The water is turquoise (on sunny days), there are beautiful walks, large surfing beaches and small isolated bays. The weather is unreliable, but when the sun is out there is nowhere more beautiful. I did a few sketches while there – here’s the view from our (rented) house :
a sketch done during one of our walks around the cliffs :
Some of the small beaches we scrambled down to (not always easily!)
And a typical breton house up the hill a bit from the one we were renting -( which was very comfortable and well-situated, but not charming at all).
Thank you Marianne and Dominique for introducing us to this wonderful place!
Now, it’s off to Provence – back to sleep , blog!
Update : Here’s a link to some wonderful sketches sketches of the same area.
