Hong Kong – Ferries
While visiting Hong Kong, you spend a lot of time on ferries, going back and forth between islands. Our favorite was the Star Ferry, which looks as though it hasn’t changed in fifty years. The ferry rides were always a welcome relief from the close heat of the city. Here are a few sketches done from the ferry, going between Kowloon and Central Hong Kong, or out to Cheung Chau Island- unfortunately, I never sketched the ferries themselves. They move quickly through the water, so please be indulgent – I had to sketch fast!
