Today Ronell and I had our weekly painting day, and our friend Sondra was in town, so she came along. She had the most amazing shoes on – so we asked her to take them off so we could paint them. This doesn’t do them justice at all, but it gives you an idea (imagine more sparkles).

I saw Ronell’s first so yours are a real surprise! You both have such interesting and diferent ways to express them. If I’m ever in town, I’m going to try my best to invite myself to one of your painting luncheons!!! This is a lovely way to grow a freindship and art.

Would Sondra mind sending her shoes to me? I’d like to wear..ummm…I mean, do a still life of them
You’ve made them very appealing!! I like the sepia toned still life, as well – the white pastel really makes it zing!
What lucky girls you are to have each other to make art with – isn’t life just too much fun when you have like-minded friends???

What a beautiful painting. I love the choices you made in how to frame the subject, and the colors and shadows are just lovely. You girls must have so much fun with your painting dates – I’m very envious.
